This piece is what I see when I listen to “Monster” by Detektivbyrån. It has an oddly muted effect. This was a pretty great piece to do which ended up getting a little emotional for me since I really connected with this song in some strange ways. I felt it deep inside, you know?
Anyway, it’s important for me to note the movement that happens in this image. The background color blue, or the glaucouse blue, and the yellow are what i call the canvas of the image - they’re fixed. they don’t move and they’re the stabilizer of the image. But the blue and rose lines are different, they move - and they move in similar but still different ways.
The blue line branches out sort of like a tree if you watched a tree grow in super fast time, while the rose color simultaneously grows off of it, blooming like a flower kind of growing out like the branches of blue, but also growing in a circular motion.
My friend pointed out something interesting - my colors never seem to blend. Which now that I think about it, they don’t. Each color (nearly) always stands on its own in contrast to all the others.
